김수민은 서울을 무대로 활동중인 오디오 비주얼 아티스트다. 테크놀로지와 동시대 과학기술에 대한 연구를 기반으로 뇌파, 감성 데이터, Ai 등 다양한 기술을 이용하여 아트와
기술의 융합에 대해 연구하며 프로젝트를 진행하고 있다.
더불어, 오디오 비주얼 퍼포먼스의 관계에 대해 관심을 가지고 있다. 오디오와 비주얼의 상관관계와 종속, 범람을 통해 새로운 관계와 위계를 만들어내며 때로는 느슨한 선형을
이루는 등 오디오 비주얼의 맥락과 미학에 대해 탐구하며 실험을 통해 오디오 비주얼의 확장에 대해 탐색한다.
김수민은 <<PRECTXE>>(2020)를 시작으로 <<AVLA>>(2022), <<New Music in
Jeju>>(2022) 등 여러 퍼포먼스에 참여하였으며 <<시선과 불확실>>(2022), <<프로젝트
창>>(2022), <<음악으로 건축하기>>(2023) 등 여러 전시와 개인전을 진행하였다.
Sumin Kim is an audiovisual artist based in Seoul. Their work is grounded in the exploration of technology and contemporary scientific advancements, incorporating various technologies such as brainwave analysis, emotional data, and AI to investigate the convergence of art and technology.
In addition, Kim is interested in the relationship between audiovisual performances. They explore the correlations, dependencies, and overflow between audio and visual elements, seeking to establish new relationships and hierarchies, sometimes creating loose linearity. Through these experiments, Kim delves into the aesthetics and context of audiovisual art and its potential expansion.
Kim has participated in several performances, beginning with <<PRECTXE>> (2020), followed by <<AVLA>> (2022), and <<New Music in Jeju>> (2022). They have also held various exhibitions and solo shows, including <<Gaze and Uncertainty>> (2022), <<Perspective>> (2022), and <<Architecture by Sound>> (2023).
